    Question about items

    Hey,
Was just wondering if I can stack two or three of the same items that you put on your character.. Like if I put two max health boosts on does it work?
    Thanks

Yep. If you stack three of the same item on a character, it effectively triples the effect of that item.

You can produce some pretty powerful combinations with that strategy!

EDIT: Stacking identical items has been removed to improve game balance. You are still able to stack items within the same chain of effects.

    Qs about items:

For the item trait heals self for 18% of attack dmg or 18% of the heros attack stat?

Also. If a character has a trait for rage n u stack a rage item on top does it stack? Ie 31% + 20%???

Does this work for the same way for characters who do negative effects on enemies?
Such as starling decreases healing by 200 and the item decreases it by 100. Then the total is 300 on the enemy?

    Thanks

Life drain items like Crystal Shards and Shroud of Souls will heal the fighter for the % of their attack damage. But bear in mind that increased offense will increase the attack damage. For example, consider a fighter with 100 offense, a Crystal Shards item equipped, and an ability that does 200 damage. Crystal Shards returns 15% of damage as health, so each 200 damage attack will return 30 health. Let's say offense is increased to 150 by a buff or enrage, the damage output of the normally 200 damage attack would increase to 300, and the health returned from that attack would be 45.

Yes, the offense boosts from both the Enrage item and trait would combine together, up to the maximum allowed stacks of 3.

No, that is incorrect. Stacking was mentioned in the latest patch notes regarding Poison: "Poison status effects sourced from Items will continue to be tracked separately from character-sourced Poisons."

This info is actually incorrect (and will be edited shortly). The game was functioning like that at one time, but it was a bug.

Timed status effects (ones that have a round duration like Poison or Wounded) do not combine with each other, and instead inherit the highest value if stacked. So in the example you sited, the target character would be Wounded for 200, not 300.

Untimed status effects like Enrage and Weaken (which are removed after using an ability) do currently combine when stacked.
