Alliance Features: (we will continue to add to this list over the coming days/weeks.)
- Alliance Unlock: Alliances are only available to players @ Castle Level 5 and above. Players at castle level 1-4 cannot join or create an alliance.
- Alliance Member Limit: At launch, Alliances can have up to 10 players per Alliance. This may change in a patch, but 10 sounded like a good starting point and all alliance raids have been balanced for 10 players at varying levels.
- Creating an Alliance: Creating an alliance costs 2000 Gems, 1500 of which go directly into your alliance's vault. Use currency from the vault to unlock alliance boosts, start raids, and revive your fighters. Upon creation, the founder sets the name of the alliance and designs the alliance's flag. Note: The alliance name and flag cannot be changed after creating the alliance, so choose carefully.
- Joining & Leaving an Alliance: Joining alliances is free for any player. You can join an alliance by tapping on any alliance in the Alliance Leaderboard and sending a Join Request. The request must be accepted by the Alliance Leader before you can participate in that alliance. You can leave your alliance at any time by tapping on your name in the alliance chat tab. Note: Alliances that have 10 players already do not receive join requests.
- Alliance Chat: Each Alliance features a Private Chat Room for Alliance members PLUS in-battle chat and status updates for all alliance members in battle. Communication is the key to victory in Alliance Raids.
- Raid Battle Chains: Alliance members battle together to defeat hordes of enemies and epic bosses in timed battle scenarios for a share of rewards, including exclusive items that can only be found in raids. Raids can be initiated with a gold cost. Each Alliance Raid consists of three difficulties and each raid map has branching paths with varying difficulty levels, enemies and rewards.
- Raid Battle Roles: There are three distinct battle roles that can be assumed by each member in raid battles. These are Healers, Damage Dealers, and Tanks. These roles greatly affect BOSS battles and can make the difference between victory or defeat in Alliance Raids. They are selected per battle right after selecting your fighters before entering an alliance raid battle. Note: Battle roles are not available in Horde battles.
- Alliance Boosts: Alliance Boosts are timed buffs and mods that affect every member of the Alliance. Some are related to raids, while others impact all Alliance Members outside the Alliance System.
- Alliance Leaderboards: Alliance Leaderboard ranking is based on the cumulative trophy count of all members in the alliance. In the future, we will add more ways to sort and measure Alliances.
- Alliance Logs: In the main menu of the Alliance, 3 logs are available. These include a battle log that tracks everyone's activity in Alliance Battles, an activity log that displays various Alliance member activities, and the vault log that serves as a record of contributions to the vault by each member. They serve a central role in communication and are the main focus of the initial Alliance menu.
- Alliance Leaders: The Alliance leaders are able to name and design their own custom flag, approve/kick members, assign Captain roles, spend alliance currency, and initiate raids.
- Alliance Captains: Alliance Captains are able to purchase boosts, approve join requests, and start raids.
- Alliance Members: Each member of the Alliance can contribute to the vault, battle in raids and spend vault gems to continue battles. Again, communication within the Alliance is key to success.
- Alliance Vault: The alliance vault is a community currency bank to which everyone in the alliance can contribute both gold and gems. Each member can spend gems on revive/continues in battle, but only captains and leaders can spend gems or gold outside of battle. The Vault Log keeps a rolling tally of contributions over a time period. Tapping a member's name in the vault log will display a detailed list of the contributions of that member.
As a side note: We sincerely hope you all enjoy the alliance system. A LOT of time, thought, and effort went into the system and we hope it shows. We wanted to take the time and make it interesting and challenging. There are unique strategies and challenges to each raid battle, making each one stand out.
BUT, this is just the beginning, first draft of the Alliance System. Please send us your feedback!! As always, WE ARE LISTENING!!
Thanks again for your patience while we worked through the details. We all hope it was worth the wait!
Special shout-out to Ridil, DanHaney, ItsMeEarles, Toastydonut, BluuDev, and the rest of the KizStudios team. Amazing work!!
